Barack Obama To Star In Netflix Nature Documentary, Barack Obama will appear in a documentary series of five parts for Netflix on national parks across the United States and abroad.
The president of the 44th will be the host of the show called “Our Great National Parks” and will be available to stream starting on the 13th of April.
When the project was first revealed in the year before, the expectation was Obama’s role to be purely as executive producer. However, according to Deadline, the first publication to report the story, Obama is expected to appear on camera.
Obama’s documentary will concentrate on the national parks of California, Kenya, Indonesia, Chile, and other areas.

The program will run alongside the nature protection fundraising campaign involving the Wildlife Conservation Society and Count Us.
“A fish that walks. Hippos surfing that would like to get on the wave. The only species of this kind in the world,” Obama says in the trailer for “Our Great National Parks.”
“When humanity began to safeguard these natural areas, we didn’t know how crucial they would be. They are now a refuge for endangered species and an excellent research site for scientists.”
Barack and Michelle Obama’s lengthy cooperation in partnership with Netflix has included the award-winning movie “American Factory,” an investigative documentary about the Chinese-owned manufacturing plant located in Ohio.
The film was purchased by the Obamas Production business, Higher Ground Productions.
Higher Ground has also produced children’s programs like “Ada Twist,” Scientist,” and “Waffles + Mochi” -each of which has been streamed on Netflix.
Michelle Obama was also featured in a Netflix documentary inspired by her memoir “Becoming.”
