North West Held Up a ‘Stop’ Sign For Kim Kardashian: The fact that North West will inevitably be photographed in public does not obligate her to be pleased with the situation. The 9-year-old daughter of two of the most famous people in the world, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, came up with a direct way to tell photographers off while sitting in the front row with her mother at a Paris Fashion Week runway show.

In a moment recorded by a now-viral video from the show, North stares unblinkingly into the camera of a single individual filming her. Without a smile, she raises a piece of paper with the single word “Stop” .scribbled in pencil.

“She scrawled STOP on her invitation and held it aloft,” the speaker said, and wanted them to focus solely on the performance.

In a previous tweet, the founder of Skims shared her delight that North, the eldest of her four children with West, accompanies her for such performances. “As a mother, I am grateful that my daughter enjoys accompanying me on business trips and that I am able to bring her and have wonderful moments with my mother,” Kardashian said alongside multiple photos of the duo at Paris Fashion Week.

This is not the first time North has expressed distaste for the continual glare of cameras she has grown up with. Several years ago, a video of her informing paparazzi who had ambushed her on her way to ballet class that she wanted “no pictures” went viral.
