Love Island USA Season 4: The Islanders are back! Summer is in full swing, and in July, Love Island USA will bring fresh faces—and sexier challenges—to the reality TV scene. The American version of the UK’s Love Island was acquired by NBC after three seasons on CBS. Moving to Peacock, the network’s streaming service, will also give the Islanders more freedom to match the sassy (and sometimes sexual) tone of the original dating show.

In a February news release, Jenny Groom, executive vice president of unscripted entertainment content, said, “Love Island is a hugely addictive dating format that is suited for a streaming service like Peacock where we can push boundaries and bring fans steamy and dramatic twists.”

“After the U.K. format garnered fans all across the world, the series caught pop culture by storm, and we are happy to be able to bring an all-new version to Peacock this summer.”

Love Island 1

Peacock has picked up the show for seasons 4 and 5, saying that the episodes and couples will be “hotter than ever.”

Love Island USA already addressed raunchier footage during season 3, which aired in the summer of 2021, providing raunchier scenes on Paramount+ that didn’t make the cut for CBS.

“You’re going to get some more steam for Paramount+,” longtime anchor Arielle Vandenberg exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2021, ahead of the season launch. “So anything we couldn’t show on the broadcast will be seen on Paramount+.” So there are a lot of great, new, fascinating things to look at there as well.

Only time will tell if the reality series’ new home—and uncensored content—will result in long-term relationships. The premise, on the other hand, has not changed. Beginning next month, viewers will follow a group of singles as they hunt for love while living in a villa together.

Week after week, they will form alliances and engage in hot contests for love and money—a $100,000 reward is at stake. While the audience will vote for the winning pair, it will be up to the final two islanders to decide whether to split the money, end their relationship, or try to retain the prize for themselves.
