Adani is ranked 10th on the Index. Ambani, who has a net worth of $99 billion, is just behind him at 11th. Adani’s net worth has increased by $23.5 billion year-to-date (YTD), making him the most valuable person. Ambani’s net worth increased by $9.03 billion in the same time frame.
Adani, the head of the Adani Group, which includes a presence in ports and energy, utility logistics, airports, and other areas, has seen a significant increase in his net wealth over the past few years. He and Ambani are locked in a fight to be the richest Indian. One side will win over the other.
In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for India, both industrialists place huge bets on green and renewable energy. Ambani declared last year that Reliance Industries would invest Rs 75 000 crores in the new energy sector over the next three years. His company has made many acquisitions in this area since then.
