Wakanda Forever Reportedly Has The Longest Phase 4 Runtime

Wakanda Forever The Marvel Next Release

Wakanda Foreve: As Marvel Studios‘ next release, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever could be one of the studio’s longest films to date. According to a new listing on the Cineplex theatres’ website, the Ryan Coogler sequel will be two hours and 41 minutes long. If accurate, this would make it the longest film in the MCU that is not part of the Avengers series. As of right now, Chloe Zhao’s Eternals holds the record for longest non-Avengers film at 2 hours and 36 minutes, which is only five minutes shorter than the rumoured runtime of Wakanda Forever.

Given the importance of the sequel after Chadwick Boseman’s untimely death, that length of time makes sense. However, Marvel or Disney has not yet confirmed it because tickets have not yet gone on sale.

“Sadly, the importance of that query increased. For the sake of everyone, and especially the cast and crew members who had promised to come back for this performance, “Coogler said in the most recent issue of Empire Magazine that the question of how the production would continue in the face of what seemed like impossible odds was what drove his thinking about the film.

The director said, “To be mature, you have to be able to face hard questions and still make a choice and move on.” Chad was the lead singer for this unusual ensemble, which was more like a band than a cast of actors. And so the question for me was, “How can I figure out a song that they can still get up there and sing?” given the circumstances.”

Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (featuring Florence Kasumba) strive to safeguard Wakanda from interfering world powers in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. As the Wakandans attempt to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together and build a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman). It remains to be seen how the Midnight Angels fit into the plot.
