Singer Christine Mcvie

In 1970, McVie became a member of Fleetwood Mac and went on to compose some of the group’s most recognized hits, such as “Don’t Stop” and “You Make Loving Fun” from the album Rumours, as well as “Hold Me,” “Little Lies,” and “Over My Head.” She stayed with the band through some tumultuous times, especially in the early 90’s, but left them after their 1998 reunion tour. After taking a long break away from the public eye, she rejoined Fleetwood Mac in 2014 and was performing with them up until 2019.

McVie stayed in contact with her former bandmates, even attending some of their concerts (“It was bizarre but also amazing to be an observer of them without me”). Eventually, in 2012, she began to long for the music and the friendship, leading her to seek help from a therapist to help her overcome her fear of flying and rejoin the band in 2014.
